Ibanez CS9 Questions
Looking to buy a chorus pedal, was wondering what the thoughts on these were.
Also - Anyone know if they are still made in Japan? A |

mine's only a few years old, and still made in japan as of then.
great, subtle chorus. rugged casing, stingy on batteries. you're not gonna play "come as you are" with it, but for a little shimmer, it's nice. As a jazz player, I'm not usually a fan of chorused jazz tones, but this pedal (along with a few others out there) is capable of an interesting tone alteration without sounding "cheezy."

I have one of the current Ibanez CS9 reissues. Still made in Japan. Great pedal too. It can go from subtle to vibrato-like warbles. One of my all-time fave chorus effects. I also like the Ibanez FL9 Flanger too.

Nice. I have been looking around for pedals, but not going for the Come As You Are tone, moreso going for the Cliffs of Dover tone, or just general shimmer, I don't like the idea of my tones being drowned.
Thanks for the info guys! |
