Holy Grail Reverb modification?

I have a Holy Grail Reverb pedal which I find noisy - a high pitched hiss. Is there a modification that will remove this?

(have heard of a "Lord Valve" mod but could not find it.)

Lord Valve mod you refer to must be the one from his review of the pedal in alt.guitar.amps. He says to install lock washers for the jacs and pot. Also a dab of silicon to secure the PCB board to the body of the stomp switch.
