I always thought that it would be cool to have a pedal that could smoothly crossfade between 4 different amps. It would rock like a wah, but you could also rotate it parallel to the floor with your foot. You could also use it as a quad pan pedal. Psych-o-delic, man!

LOL - when I designed the original ego compressor circuitry, I talked to the fellow at redtele quite a bit about it and mentioned that i loved his site and would love to use the name. He gave me the blessings to use the name ego comp so of course I sent him one to have if for nothing else but just being one cool dude. :)

I was going to say a "Talent" pedal...

but seriously...
an "automatic"/tap tempo compressor pedal. For those of us who don't really know how to use a compressor "properly".

a pedal that actually emulates the sound of brownface harmonic vibrato. i've heard some do something in the ballpark, but if a pedal could nail that sound i'd pay through the nose for it.

Quite simply a pedal (insert type) that everybody can afford! Is it such a hard concept to get accross.....

Most Behringer, Boss, Danelectro, Digitech, EHX, and MXR pedals ARE reasonably affordable. It's when "tone connosieurs" are wanting a certain type of sound, and are willing to pay a "king's ransom" to get a pedal company to build it for them. And as the old saying goes, "there's a sucker born every minute"...

Could not agree more!

The more I see re-issues of old pedals, some costing over £300.00 ($500 approx) the more I wonder how stupid these people are!, and how greedy some companies are.

I do use a Behringer TO800 vintage tube overdrive pedal to push a small tube amp - gives me the dirty grity esquire tone I require.

I must admit though to have been looking at the Line 6 echo park http://line6.com/tonecore/echoPark.html and the Line 6 Constrictor compressor pedal - combined http://line6.com/media/tonecore/Slap%20N%20Squeeze.mp3, although in my defense these are low priced.....to me!

Echo park - £89 - $147
Contrictor - £43 - $71
