Reverberation
What do you guys usually do for reverb? I'm sure a good amount of us on here have a great old Fender amp that has a spring already, as I do, but I'm not sure which direction to go. I want to have a nice reverb to ring out over acoustic numbers, or give me that "Peaceful easy feeling" type of tone for bassy runs. I've got an old Deluxe, should I just get a footswitch and do the amp reverb? If I get the volume cut that the "Vibrato" gives me I don't think I'm interested, although the Fender spring reverb is really nice. I've been looking hard at the Little Lanilei spring reverb pedal, but i just feel the fool since i've basically got that exact thing already in the amp. What do you pros out there do?

You have an old deluxe reverb? If so, I'd try that reverb first. I use pedals and outboard units all the time now ... only one of my amps even has reverb, and it's on the weak side for some reason. Easiest and cheapest is the Hermida reverb pedal. Excellent sound and quiet too.
