Machine Head pedals

I've been e-mailing Keith at MachineHeadPedals for about a week now about doing a mod for me. We swapped phone #'s and I was supposed to call him Fri afternoon to talk---- I didn't call him until today (Sunday) because I'm stupid and forgot. The guy is a Prince. We talked for almost 2 hrs about gear. Not just what they sell but every piece of gear known to man. He knows what TONE is. He understood what I want even tho I can't explain it in tech terms. I was already sold on his work just from the demo's I could find ( 72 degrees anybody) but after talking to him I feel I gained a new friend that's just as twisted as I am!!! This guy loves gear. Even if you don't order anything call him up--- you might be surprised with some new ideas. I'll let ya'll know how the mod goes when we're done but I'm already stoked. Oh yeah-- he's even a member here. Check 'em out.

edit for moderators: I posted this in the Bad Dog also so take down which one is in the wrong place.

Hey Cletus Keith makes some great pedals,I just picked up one of his 72 Degree pedals a while back at a local shop here in Maryland and it's awesome. It actually took the place of another boutique overdrive pedal that had been on my board for a few years. The thing I like about the pedal is that it's very open sounding and not compressed like a lot of overdrive pedals out there. It's also built like a tank, and most of all it sounds awesome.I've been in touch with Keith thru the Tele board and he seems like a very nice guy that has a great product.Mark Moree aka DblStop

Whatever I say is going to sound biased because I'm responsible for those clips. But I've gotta say, the MHP stuff is the schnizzle. I just love the 72. I take it everywhere and it cuts right through on stage, where it counts (for me, at least). And yes, they're built like little tanks with a degree of care that only the guy who conceived, designed and built them could offer.

I found a great article on Keith the other day. I've never met him (we live on opposite sides of the world) but I found this to be very informative.

More power to Keith and MHP. I hope others will discover them soon and enjoy them as much as I have. :)

Enough flag waving then. Back to my Tele and the 72 for a little twang.

Everything is done in house, and I mean EVERYTHING. Drilling, powdercoating, pcb etching, box graphics, and so on are all done on the premises. I take pride in that, as it's something that's almost extinct in the 21st century.

Thats what always I liked about the Barber Electronics pedals the pride in workmanship you can see inside the box. I'm glad to see someone else is taking up that banner...

DblStop-- I got in touch with Keith thru this board also. Glad you're digging his pedal cause I just sent him a pedal to tweak a little bit.

Telingme--- if I had your chops I'd probably be biased too!! Love your videos.
