MI Audio Blues Pro

I stumbled across this pedal while looking at BJr vids. This thing looks and sounds pretty cool. Who's using it and what kind of music do you play? How do you like the "fuzz"? Any slide players out there using it?

Excellent tube screamer style pedal.

IMO the fuzz switch doesn't do much.

I like it and use it a lot for rock/bluesy stuff; it's not very smooth but stays pretty transparent at higher gain settings and is good at letting the character of the amp you're using shine through. I like the Timmy better for 'just-some-hair'sounds, it's a bit smoother but clearer (?) to these ears, but like the higher gain settings on the MI more than an OCD (Tele into tweed amps). Pick sensitivity is also good and very useful.

The fuzz is only noticeable at higher gain settings, but I'm a poor judge of that feature as I never use that kind of effect.

I have one and love it. One of the best overdrive pedals I've tried. The name says it all. If you play blues this pedal is for you. It's very tube-screamer like but better I think. It's got enough gain for classic rock and plenty of volume. I don't play much slide but I would think this pedal would work well for that. The fuzz mode gives you a different sound but I don't find it all that useful. The updated version is out now but I haven't checked what's different.

I sold a version 4 OCD for this pedal and never looked back...I don't use the fuzz mode as it's a bitt over the top but I find the the Od mode excellent..I have found that it works better with a dano CTO in front of it...
