Peppermint Fuzz vs Sunface BC-108

Ok, I recently got rid of my analogman dark pepp fuzz due to it being just too dark through my Cornford hurricane. What I'd like to hear is people's opinions on the similarities and differences of the standard pepp fuzz and the sunface 108.

Thiings like bass response, highs and mids and overall mojo wold be great to get some views on. PLease though, I'm only really interested in people that have heard them both - I've seen the gearmandude comparison on youtube and to be honest, from that, I can't hear a whole lot of difference!

Due to my amp being fairly dark the best match would be the one that has more pronounced mids and highs. Thing is, I've heard that the 108 can be a little thin and raspy, which doesn't really sound so good.
