I walked in to Sam Ash in NYC, they had 5 of them. The guy had to go in the back to get one, but tried it out right there through a fender twin and compared amp reverb to the FR1, and was shocked. No, it is not the same as a real reverb tank, but good God! Close enough for me and gives me back a little room on my pedal board now that my holy grail plus has quasi retired!!!!

Hi all, first post. Been a tele player over 30 yrs. I got my FRV1 about a week ago. I also tried it in a RI Twin and a Vibrolux. It sounded way better than the reverb in those two amps. My old Fender reverb unit is sadly long gone so I can't A/B with that but I think this pedal sounds fantastic. I believe in a live situation nobody including me would be able to tell the difference between this pedal and an actual spring reverb unit. JMHO YMMV etc.

does the pedal suck the proper amount of low end out of your signal, just like the real thing?!
