Keeley TR-2/Supa Trem/D.Tremulator?
Anyone had a chance to compare any combination of these trems? I'm wondering about getting a new one and these seems to be top of the pile so far. I've had a Keeley TR-2 which I was really impressed with - A/B'd it with my 65 Reverb Reissue and it definitely won the race, by quite a margin. Haven't been able to try it against the other 2 though so I though this'd be a good place to ask.
The tremulator sounds great but it does seem a bit limited with changing wave shapes. |

If you're a giggin' guitar player or just want a great tremolo, the Fulltone is a great way to go. It's not coming off of my board!

Lots of great trems out there. Haven't played the Keeley. For pure tone, I'd say that the Demeter is slightly deeper and swampier sounding (scientific tone terms) than the Fulltone... but I'm talking like a whopping 1% here. They sound extremely similar.
As I recall, the Demeter has a built-in volume boost that can't be dialed out (but maybe this has changed). To be fair, an outboard trem likely needs a bit of boost to be effective in a live mix, but it's cool to have option of unity gain if your rig/applications call for such. The Fulltone has an internal trimmer to deal with this. For live work, I've found no pedal trem that suits me better than the Supa-Trem. I personally think it's the best pedal that Mike Fuller has ever built. The format is perfect for live use. Hard/soft switch and half speed switch are the bee's knees. I added a status LED for the hard/soft switch on mine. It's been on my board for years, and it's what I'll gig this weekend. |

Great feedback, thanks all! Do you find that matcing the speed of the trem is ever a problem on stage or that you've ever found yourself wanting to be able to tap in a tempo?
This is the only thing I'm wondering about with giving up the Shape Shifter as it does seem a pretty handy feature so far. |

Where can I find this mod? I have a TR-2 and would like to mod it.
