Visual Sound Rt. 66 Compressor Question

I ntice a lot of people like this compressor. I have one but have not gotten the sound I like.What are favorite settings?I use this with a Fender HR Deluxe, at what volume do you run the amp when using this compressor?

i used one of these for a while-when compared to other comps i thought it was either too dark or too bright but then in the context of a recording or onstage it always sounded good to me...i don't think i had any of the knobs too far from 12:00.

The R66 compressor is my absolute favorite one! (and I've tried almost all!)

I have the tone and vol knobs at noon and the sustain at 11 o'clock.

When I use it w/ my HRD I have the HRD vol. at 2-3 the presence at noon,bright switch off ,bass all the way up,treble at 10 and middle at 8.

This should get you a killer clean tele tone.
