What effect do I hear on Let It Loose by the Stones?
Throughout the song (especially in the beginning) "Let It Loose" on the Rolling Stones' Exile On Main Street album there is an arpeggio guitar (probably Mr. Richards) that has a swelling, (rotating?) beautiful breathing sound that gives it a feeling of wide open space. What is the effect used on that guitar part?

Yep a Leslie, beautiful song.
Playing tip: put a capo on 3rd, which makes it much easier to do the arpeggios, see eg here: http://www.rockmagic.net/guitar-tabs...t_it_loose.tab |
