Seems to get relatively positive reviews at Harmony (always taken with a pinch of salt). Never really thought about what it could add to my rig. Guess I'm an "amp in a pedal" cynic. I am a bit intrigued though after hearing some of the reviews.
Mate of mine has an FDR pedal and it's crap. IMHO of course.

I use the FBM-1 pedal with a Roland JC-120 amp and I think it sounds great. I haven't played through a real '59 Bassman, which I would assume to sound better. Of course the pedal is only $120, which was an easier decision to purchase than the vintage amp (or even the reissue).

Thanks for the replies guys.
I've never played a Bassman amp either, and I don't really expect the pedal to mimic the amp who's name it bears. However its interesting that some of you think it is a decent O/D pedal. I think I'll see if I can try one out somewhere.
