Fuzz/Wah for Blues/Rock

Alright, I have a budget of $250 for each. I play mainly blues-rock and the like. Cream, Hendrix, Iron Butterfly for a general fuzz tone. And just a nice blues-y wah.

For fuzz's, I've narrowed down my choices to either the Frantone Peach Fuzz or Lovepedal 200 Lbs of Tone.

For wah's, I'm looking at either the RMC Picture Wah or Wheels of Fire. I had decided on the Picture Wah, but I'm now considering the Wheels of Fire because I don't want a volume-oscillation-thing going on when I use a wah.

Opinions?

Wah - Fulltone Clyde, Budda Bud Wah, Area 51 Wah, Teese Picture Wah or virtually any wah in the market. except the roger mayer one. stupidly high priced. those three are my favorites. or maybe a vintage vox wah. $250 is a lot of money to buy a good wah. you can also buy a buffer for your wah so that the volume oscillation thing wont happen.

Fuzz - both are good choices. the 200 lbs is supposed to get you an eric johnson violin tone. havent heard much of the frantone but i think it's also a fuzz face. you may also be interested in retroman's sybil. or a keeley fuzz head. or an analogman sunface. those should be in consideration as well.

happy hunting. i wish i had that kind of budget to buy a teese wah and analogman sunface NKT 275.

The Dunlop Classic w/ fasal, comes true bypass and sounds more like a clapton type wah, going for $99 new online

you might want to check out the EHX muffs, they're very popular.

Actually, I'm pretty much thinking of getting a Picture Wah and Sunface at the moment considering all the good things/clips I've heard. I'll hopefully be getting a job later this year to actually get some gear, so yeah.

I'd scribble +1 all over that! Love my USA Big Muff Pi - hugely versatile and crazy feedback sounds when you want them.

+1 on the Dunlop Classic w/fasel inductor. After spending a couple of years and too much money trying to find the right wah, I settled on this one and am very happy with it. I like it more than the Budda and Homebrew Electronics wahs. I didn't notice a lot of difference for the extra money those two cost.
