Good deal at GC today

I received a $25.00 customer appreciation card in the mail last week from Guitar Center to be used Labor Day weekend. Took it to GC, at lunch today, to check out the "List Sale". They had a Bad Monkey marked down from $49.99 to $39.99. Used the card & walked out with a new pedal for $14.99 + tax.

It sounds pretty good with my Blues Jr. I'm a happy camper!

I really couldn't say. I went there for the pedal & kept my blinders on. I'm in the middle of building a Tele and don't want to push the wife too much!

they had alot of digitech pedals on sale there when i was there but all gc's are different. I'm going to a different one in my area tomorrow. Although it seems to me everyone's dumping the digitech pedals. MF has them on clearance right now. Goodluck.

My GC currently has the Boss DynaDrive for $69.

I bought/returned the exact pedal months ago for $120 from the exact same GC.

I loved that pedal - just not $120 love.

$70? Maybe.

Heck if I know. I bought a guitar, amp, cord, tuner etc for my wife last December. Picked up some strings & stuff every once in a while. I got a $20 coupon last month and $25 this month. I'm not asking questions......

I guess each one may be different. I got the $20.00 coupon last month but not the $25.00.

I better keep an eye on the postman.

I got an awesome deal today at GC - display model Digitech Bad Monkey for $20! Always wanted one, but never could justify dropping $40 when I was reasonably happy with my HRD's overdrive sound. Well, for $20, I'm super happy :)

They said they weren't going to sell the Bad Monkey anymore, though. Said it was being discontinued. For the sake of future guitarists, though, I hope that that is not true.

Where? I see a few B stocks on clearance but they are due in the 24th? They are probably making room for the new Hardwire series.

Hi all! Seeing as how this is my first post, I figured it'd be appropriate to post about the deal I, too, got at GC on this past Friday - my first Tele! It's an American Standard maple-necked 3-color sunburst model, purchased on sale for $879. I was going to pick up a floor model, but the guy in the store was like, "I think we may have one in the back that's still in the case...." It was still in the shipping box. He got it out, I tried it out, and then I walked out with my new #1 in hand.

Funny thing is, I got it on a bit of a fluke. I just recently started to play again, mostly because the kids are getting old enough to be taking an interest in playing, so if I'm going to teach them, I need to get MY playing back up to snuff! I only had one normal electric guitar, and figured it'd be a good plan to have another since there are two kids to teach. I'd always liked how raw Teles can sound, I'd just never gotten one. Seriously glad I did!

By the way, if you haven't seen them, the cases that are included with the new Am. Std. instruments are really nice!

Joe

Usually when I pay they ask my phone number. After they type that in, they usually ask me if "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" is my correct address. I'd assume if you don't have to go thru that song and dance, they don't know where to find you.

I took my son camping the whole Labor Day weekend and didn't make the sale or use my coupon, but I got two that had to be used by 7/31 (I think). One was free stuff in the $15 range if you spent $25 or more and the other was 10% off. I got some new strings with one. I bought a DRRI that day and they price matched Best Buys $797.99 price so I couldn't use a coupon on it. They did have Shure 57's marked down to $79.99 that day and I walked outta there with it for $71.99 plus tax.

If you notice the Postman with a new amp or some other gear you'll know what happened to your couipons.
