Which OCD version?
I'm looking to get a Fulltone OCD but there's a bunch of versions, which one is better or worse than the others?

They are all useful. I've had 1, 3, and am currently on V4 and love it.

Going by the variations in the schematics of the diff. v's, I'd say that different ones would be preferable for different guitar/amp combinations.
I believe that I have the schematic for V4, and it should be considerably brighter, simply by the changing of two capacitors. You can hear V4 in a shootout here: http://harryj.net/OD_Shootout2.htm
