PedalBoard build

I figured I'd post this here, I'm pretty proud of myself xD, being that it's the first guitar related project I've ever really done.

I started off with an American Tourister "overnighter" suitcase I bought at an "antiques" store.

Then I cut a 17" by 11" piece of 3/4" plywood, sanded the edges and sprayed it black. I used 3M Dual Lock fastener stuff which is really nice. I glued a piece of acoustic foam to both the top and bottom of the inside of the case for padding. For a power supply I got a Godlyke PA-9 which seems pretty nice, it's very quiet and does what I need. I bought the cables in Ireland. . .

I'm sure the average Buddhist would be appalled.

With the power supply the total cost was around $80, and I had a lot of fun doing it.

Thanks to 11Guage for the GT-500 :)

Mine's a little lower on the tech scale...

I just built one myself.. my first attempt.

I got a $10 acrylic kitchen cutting board at Wal Mart, and then swung by the craft section for some Velcro strips.
Total Materials Cost: $15
For power, I already had a 1-Spot which is one power cord with enough daisychains to run 5 boxes, so i need another extension on that.

My effects chain (R to L)
FENDER PT-100 Tuner
COFFIN Blood Drive Distortion
BOSS AW-3 Dynamic Wah
DANELECTRO Fab Chorus
DANELECTRO Fab Echo
DANELECTRO Tuna Melt Tremelo

If anybody else who's done this has any suggestions to improve the design, Id love to hear.

The cutting board is a great idea, I hope the wood I used doesn't warp too soon.

not an issue. it's plastic. If you built one with a wood cutting board, just keep it dry and out of extreme light and it probably wouldnt warp. Those are built to last for years.
