my pedal board project
I gave in and got tired of throwing a few misc pedals in the back of my amp whenever I went some where so I started scheming up a pedal board in my head. I also have 3-4 new pedals coming in (mostly from Nick Greer) so I knew it was time. This is what I came up with
![]() (Im kind of embarressed as a woodworker that my dado ran crooked) http://www.pbase.com/dkauer744/image/100698836 Here's with the lid off. I glued in a 1" thick foam pad I found over at jo-annes as some cushion. ![]() So sparse looking right now ... lol ![]() ![]() Now what I did is to make this rack simply sit in the enclosure so I could easily pull it out to add / remove pedals, add a power supply ect. I also glued 1/2" thick foam to the back side and slit it so the cables could push through it but it would keep things from falling down under the pedals, rattle ect. http://www.pbase.com/dkauer744/image/100698842 space underneath the rack http://www.pbase.com/dkauer744/image/100698846 Shot from the other end. So the original plan was I was going to hard wire in the input and output jacks so that I could simply plug my cables in somewhere outside the box and be going. Honestly, after hauling it out last night just plugging into the input of the Wah and output of the tuner was probably just fine. I also want to build a 2 pedal box for the reverb and trem on my Encore. Now... can't wait till the rest of those pedals show up |

Excellent job!
Clever design and well done. Is it seat-belt material you're using? How are you holding the pedals down? (Sorry if already mentioned).
