USA PODxt in the UK?
Has anyone imported one of these from the USA? With the exchange rate at it's current level they are half the price, but I'm concerned about power supply compatability issues.
Cheers, Chris. |

You would have to buy a new power supply from the UK, b/c the US ones run on 110vac. Typically all that's involved is finding a shop or online retailer who stocks the power supplies (I imagine the XT uses the same power supply as the original POD which is the same as the Line6 pedals as well) and order one.
Just keep in mind that customs and shipping really add quite a bit onto the cost of most things you order from the US; with the exchange rate it might still be worth it though.

Bit the bullett and brought one in the UK.
Thanks for the reponses, but after shipping, duty charges and the cost of the power supply it would have only saved me about £40.
Decided peace of mind with legit UK spec'd one was probably safest bet. Chris. :D |
