power supplies
So, I found a wall-wart in a box while tidying up this morning. It's a Boss, says it produces 9VDC @ 200mA. I check it with my multimeter and it says @ 15VDC--is that a problem, or just 'built-in overhead/headroom'?
Muchos gracias, pedal guys.

Of the few that I've ever measured they all seem to run high. My guess is that once a load is applied, the load drags them down to the rated voltage.
Just a guess of course...
