Behringer CS100 on the way...

Did a search here, not much on this compressor.

Any opinions, I have wasted more $$ than this bad meals. ;)

wanted something and the reviews i could muster up on the internet did not steer me away...

I own he DC9. I realy wouldn't concider it a compressor as much as I would a limiter or perhaps even an eq. I play low volume at home and it add a nice shimmer and chime to the overall tone, like taking a blanket off of your speaker. Much nicer for rythem than for lead, too thin sounding.

I got the Behringer CS-100 yesterday and on top of the tube changes I had made a few days ago on my Valve Junior, it improves the tone dramatically.

Funny,while waiting for the CS-100, I fell into another Amp that has a compressor in the effects portion [line-6]. I was thinking about sending the compressor back before I decided to see how the VJR might sound with the CS-100 in front of it. ;) Big improvement IMO!

I am assuming due to upping the input impedance. Now I will take it out and try it with the folks I am playing with lately, would not have considered it when stock.
