arrangement and order of effects pedals...HELP!!

I am sure that this topic has been beat to death at some point on this board, but after Christmas shopping for the last three days, I am too darn tired to search it out. Soo... here goes.

A friend of mine who is a fellow picker asked me last night what order I though he should have his effects in. Since I play primarily through a POD XT and havent messed with stomp boxes in a while, I thought I would pose the question to you guys. He plays lead in a country band, plays Tele exclusively, through a DRRI thats been retubed and rebiased. The only effects he is using are a Boss BD-2 Bluesdriver, CS-3 Compressor, DD-2 Digital delay, a Digitech Chorus, and an Ernie Ball mono volume pedal and TU-2 tuner. He daisy chains the power from the TU-2. Though maybe you guys could sort this mess out and give me some advice to give him. His wife crashed his computer the other day, or he would be here in person, but you know how that goes sometimes. Anyway, thanks in advance!!

What has worked for me for the last 25 years or so has been this: Guitar to CS-3 to Blues Driver to Chorus to volume pedal to digital delay to amp. If the volume pedal has a tuner out, connect that to the TU-2.

There are many different ways to hook em up, but he might try this first and see how it works. He can then tweak from there.

I'm in total agreement with Brad. Having the volume pedal before the delay allows swells to be repeated. That's almost exactly what's on my pedalboard.

I agree, except that I'd put the chorus after the delay. But either will work.

It gets TOO CONFUSING for me! So I've just adopted two pedals or less rule. If I have my choice its just:

Heritage Les Paul (or custom Esquire this spring)
planet waves cable
Marshall JTM45 with 2x12 (or 1953 Gibson GA-20)
