Tech 21 users - What is your gig set up?
I've got the GT2 and love it. I want to start gigging with the technology but I'm unsure: do I use the GT2 into the PA, into a Tech 21 Power Engine, do I get a Trademark 10 and go to the PA or do I get a Trademark 60 and just use it? Yikes lots of choices. Who can help? With the GT2 can I put a boost pedal in there for leads - before or after the GT2?

Tough question!
Don, it will really depend on the size gigs you are talking about. The Power Engine with the Sans will basically give you the TM60, and you have already (assuming) worked out the sounds you want out of it. I have the TM60 and the controls are much different than my SansAmp. The variations are almost infinite - too much really cause I can NEVER get totally satisfied before tinkering around again! (the dern thing will imitate ANYTHING!)
The TM10 is a nice and surprisingly loud amp that will jump you right into the board for all or filler sound and has a decent little Accutronics spring 'verb. Wouldn't be loud enough to cut through the mix of a larger gig with a loud drummer with miking it or running directly into the board with the XLR out. I had this same quandray about 6mos ago and wound up purchasing the TM60 because of the deal that amp really is. My only complaint is that I wish it was 3 channel so I could completely utilize the various sounds this thing will do. The TM10 is set up with swithes to change between the 3 (Tweed, Brit, California) but is not quick enough for live use. They now have a TM120 that has the third channel and is a twin speaker setup, but the value is not quite as good. (Killer amp and loud as a 100watt Marshall 4/12 stack! I would recommend all options that Tech 21 has out there for value and tonal versatility, but the TM60 is my pick for all around combo usefullness and a great deal, but with you already having the SansAmp, the Power Engine might be the way to go if you can rig a foot switch - don't know if it's possible. I have seen them on eBay for less than $200! Good luck and let us know what you decide on.

Got the TM10...................
I just loved the GT2 sounds and decided to live with the inconveniences of using it live. We play a variety of cover songs but generally move pretty smoothly from one type of music to another so the amp switches shouldn't be too big a deal. I'm jamming with another band Sunday so I'll report back on how it goes.

that pedal is so flexible, it's simply ridiculous. i even used it to diagnose an amp problem last week - plugged it straight into the effects loop 'return'. the GT2 sounded simply huge!
i've put boosters and other effects in front of mine, with fantastic results. i still can't get over all the uses i've had for that little box...
