pitchblack

i just got my pitchblack. i installed a battery and i noticed that the power from the battery don't cut off when i plug in the adapter.
i never had a pedal that functions like this.

the battery would cut off when the adapter is plugged in.

is this normal for the korg pitchblack for the battery to still be juiced when even a 9v adapter is plugged into its 9v jack?

never mind, i found the answer: when u have a battery plugged in, you can't use a power adapter.
