Any Thoughts on the Damage Control Nexus?

Been thinking of getting this one. I'll be running it thru a Lil Dawg Delux. I don't quite understand the usefullness of the input tube. I mean the signal is going to be A/D ,also whatcha think about their Timeline Delay box.

I've got a Glass Nexus, and it's really quite great. What's neat about it too is if you only use the delay and reverb without the modulation effect, then the dry signal path remains 100% analog, NO A/D or D/A. I like to keep digital conversion out of my signal path whenever possible. But when you do use the modulation effects, they are actually quite great sounding. Phaser, Univibe, tremolo, chorus, etc., are all great sounding.

The input to the pedal is tube buffered, and the output is too. So far I'm totally impressed by the pedal, and how quiet, clean, and warm it sounds, and the effects themselves are superb.
