What pedal sounds like a Bad Bob but with more gain?

My Victoria tweed Bassman seems to love the Bad Bob the best out of every pedal I have tried (Klon, Landgraff, TIM, OCD, really everything).
The presence, gain and feel of the Bad Bob are amazing, just perfect for my tastes.
The only problem I have is that the Bad Bob, being a boost, obviously gets loud, very loud, when cranked.
I need something with the same raw and natural feel and charachter, but with more controllable gain/volume ratio, what would you suggest?
OCD was thin and too hi-fi, Klon was middy and had a somehow strange feel...
Maybe a Clark/Barber Gainster? Any ideas?

Thanks

Maybe the Fulltone Fat-Boost 2? The original Fat Boost was based on the Jack Orman Mini-Booster, which is also what the Bad Bob and just about every boutique boost pedal is based off of. The FB2 is using a different circuit now but I would imagine it still sounds similar.

2 bad bobs! Just ask Mike Rice

I run 2, one at the beginning of my chain as a solo/gain boost, the other last in line, always on as a "more" pedal.

Another one to try would be a Dirty Dan or Tonefactor Mule (same pedal) a very uncompressed raw tweed od.

You should try the HAO Rust Booster III. It has a clean boost and a little dirt. Really smooth through my tweed deluxe.
