BYOC phaser

Just got myself a BYOC phaser and I must say how please I am with this pedal. The sound's lush and creamy just as what I wanted. What's best is the depth control which is not available in the MXR phase90 where I can dial in how much phase effect I want.

I have one question though when used with an overdrive pedal at very high gain or even with a muff pedal, I noticed the phasing effect is less pronounce. Is this characteristic of any phase pedals?

Are you putting the phaser before or after the OD or fuzz pedal? Perhaps try it after the OD or fuzz if you are putting the phaser first...
