I just saw an interesting ad in Guitar Player showing all of these different pedals that this one rocker pedal is supposed to deliver. I've been really looking for a Whammy to make some White/Morello noise, but can't justify the scratch for that one now that Jack has increased the want for that little beast. However in the ad, it is listed alongside of 15 other pedals and a Leslie box that this is supposed to do and all for $199 retail. I realize that these are advertizing claims, but does this pedal come close to getting most of these pedals attributes - especially the Whammy stuff?

Anybody around here actually played around with one of these?

Thanks for any input!

I played one at GC a year and a half ago, for about an hour. After playing it, I declined the sale price of $150. I love the space station synth swell, and wish it would come as a pedal by itself. There were some good sounds on different parts- but ultimately it was an expensive toy that I wanted but thought I could live without. My wife got me a Space Echo reissue for Xmas that is probably the most expensive pedal I have ever had (at +$50 on the Ex-7) , and it's worth every penny. I think the Ex-7 is a really good pedal in several aspects- but I know that I buy pedals to produce a few sounds- even if they are capable of more. I know that I would not use %90 of the pedals features on any sort of a regular basis. If I were to find a Craig's list or Ebay deal on one -I'd grab it. I did not do whammy- but I bet it's very good sound quality based upon my experience. You might just get a whammy pedal, though.

It's a cool pedal. Almost everyone I know has one! I guess I should get one myself. Seem like a fun pedal to have.
