![]() I have loved my Barber Tone Press because of the blend control. I can leave it on most of the time and use just enough compression to fatten tone and provide presence, but not squash-out. It really is a cool pedal. I haven't played the Keeley Comp, but I do have the Keeley modded AD9 analog delay. It's one of the best delay sounds I have heard, so I have a lot of respect for the Keeley product.

The Keeley pedal is (IMO) the one. Go to his web site and check out the custom colors and the wood ones. Mine is white and sounds incredible. It's quiet and does what it is designed to do very well.

Another Keeley fan here
I just pickup up a Keeley 2 knob compressor recently and I like it , a LOT.
The Guyatone is a cool unit too, and a lot cheaper, it has a blend switch to add in some straight signal, which is good if you're using humbuckers. Personally I was underwhelmed with the Barber Tone press, it just seemed too subtle, if that's what you're looking for I guess it would be good, but I didn't like it too much. |

I actually just picked up a Maxon CP101, which is not a pedal I would have thought to buy, but I got it for like fifty bucks. It's awesome. I was planning on using it as a backup for my Keely, but it's now my primary compressor.
