NHMAD!!!!

New home made amp day!
A few months ago I posted some questions about building an 18 watt Marshall with 6v6 tubes. I had this old Bell& Howell Filmosound amp from about 1947 that needed a rebuild. I completely gutted it and with some advice from savvy Forumites decided to build a Fender 6g3 lite. It is the bright channel ,basically without tremolo, which unfortunately, there wasn't any room for.The volume control has a pull function for negative feeback and there is a boost switch. The head slides in the back at a 45ish degree angle to help cooling and keep the cabinet as short as possible.I finished the guts of the amp a few months ago and got on to the cabinet.I wanted a 40's look for the amp so I went with the curved top section made from bent/laminated birch ply. The sides and bottom are finger jointed pine, by far the HARDEST cabinet I have built! This little guy flat out rocks!I am currently running a Celestion G12 H30 55hz, which seems to go with the somewhat Marshally crunch that it puts out. anyways , I hope you like it, I sure do!
