It'snot an amp! [PICK HEAVY]

Hi all,
I'm re-posting here from my main forum, offsetguitars. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, too.

Started with a plan, or "hair-brained scheme" as I like to call it...

production ensues:

SF VIBRO-SNOT Box:

video demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrIubw4G-Ag

Enjoy!

That... looks... like... a lot... of... work...

But that might be the most epic kleenex dispenser ever.

IT IS AWESOME!

I keep thinking of that Stix song "Too much time on my hands".
It truly is a thing of beauty!

AWESOME!

It really should be piggybacked ontop of a faux cabinet that holds fresh rolls of toilet paper.

+1. This is so much better than the tissue box covers that my grandmother used to crochet (sorry grandma).

Well done, Chatty.

excellent . . . and I'm happy to see you used finger joints for extra strength. No telling what kind of handling abuse that box is going to have to sustain!

That, sir, is the most awesome piece of studio furniture in the world. Every guitarist should own one.

A must for any well equipped music room. Does it blow tubes?

Cool, but I prefer the texture of tissues from blackface dispensers.

It's really gonna get funny when people start trying to plug their guitars into it not noticing that it's just a tissue box. ;-) Bravo on the build though, that looks absolutely fantastic!

Thanks, everyone. It was a gift for my musician friend. His girlfriend said that he wasn't allowed to bring it to work because she liked it and wanted it to stay at home! LOL

Something else might blow, in attempt to clear the tubes...

That is awsome! Even my teenage daughter got a good laugh from it.
