cabinet dimensions
So, I've a friend with a TRRI and another with an SFTR...are cabinet dimensions the same for these amps? If I built two identical cabs, would I be able to use them for both amps, or are the chassis different?
Thanks, guys

The chassis are dimensionally the same but there are slight differences.
The TRRI uses the '60s style cabinet with the removable baffle. '70s SF has a fixed baffle. Pretty sure the rear flange on the reissue chassis is bent out instead of in like the originals. I mostly see / work on vintage. There are a couple screws through the flange from the underside. Either one will fit. |
