Removing Epiphone Logo From Valve Junior Cabinet

As the title says....

The Epi logo doesn't go with the logo on the amp head that I've got it paired with. Has anyone removed one of these before? There is a guy online who removed the logo from a Valve JR. Head - He removed the front panel and then you can pop it off from the inside (see link below). I guess the only other option is to pry it off... Has anyone done this successfully?

Thanks.

I would carefully sand it away starting with 800-1200 paper and a HARD block, no bigger then 1"x2". Treat it like a big paint run you need to level.

If it is the same as the VJ combos, just take a putty knife and slide under and pry it up and off, it's just pressed on.

It's a little weird to click on a thread and find a link to my own website. Well, hope it was helpful.

The putty knife trick ought to work, just be really careful or you'll rip the tolex.

That would be weird. Your little valve junior looks great by the way. The amp I am running with this cab is not an Epi, but it matches pretty good.

Thanks, I like how it came out looking. Wouldn't do it again, though, a painted amp gets beat up real fast. Probably going to tolex it this year.

Kewl looking amp you've got there. What is it?
