Trinity 5e3 Build. Please Critique

So I populated the board finally. Here are some shots.

Please let me know if you see anything I should fix before I continue on.

Your comments are very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Looks good to me! ... it's tough to keep things in place with so many leads under the board.

Dave, when I built my Mission kit, I used my layout drawing and a highlighter to check the board. Verify a node has the proper components in place and a good solder joint, highlight the node on the drawing, repeat.

I notice some of your capacitors and resistor leads have shielding around them. I have not seen this before. Nor did my Trinity 5E3 kit mention it. Does this help with noise interference? Looks great to me. Move on to next step!

Honestly, I have no idea if it helps. Figured it couldn't hurt though.

I just finished the input jack wiring this morning.

Probably will so some more tomorrow before work as well.

I take it that Trinity instructs you to install the wires underneath the board.

Good eyes, Edmax.

GuycalledDave, you must mind the polarity on those electrolytic capacitors. The metal end of the cap goes to ground. Desolder that cap and flip it end for end.

Those little buggers will explode if they're backward when powered up.
