Emi GB128 or Weber 12A125A speaker in a BJr

Curious to know how either of these speakers sound played thru a Fender Blues Jr with humbuckers. Mostly play Chicago blues.
cheers, appreciate your comments.

I've never played a 12A125A, the GB128 is one of my favorite all-purpose speakers. To me it is simply the sound of rock and roll (and at a very reasonable price.)

Looking at the specs I suspect the Weber might be slightly more appropriate for Chicago blues. The lower power rating means your amp will really be pushing that speaker into distortion - giving you more of that ragged edge Chicago sound. With the Emi the only breakup you'll hear will be from the amp itself.

IF you are looking for more volume out of that little amp, the GB128 is the way to go, imo. Big bottom, smooth OD on the high end, and warm/woody tones overall. 102db...loud speaker.
