Bass Cabinet Speaker Swap ?
I have a new (low mileage) Acoustic Amplification B115 cabinet with a speaker rated at 250w @ 8 ohms. I have an SWR Workingman's Pro B115T cabinet with unknown mileage/use on it that I just bought as part of a bass stack, with a speaker rated at 200w @ 8ohms.
Would any of you pull the Acoustic 15" and swap with the SWR speaker? I am trying to weigh the advantages of having a newer, higher rated speaker in a cabinet against having to disclose the reduced speaker when I go to sell the Acoustic cabinet. For what it is worth, I am running a 500w head through a 400w 4x10 and the 15" cabinet that I may be swapping speakers in. Thanks in advance - BDT
