Mic Placement

I'm not sure why, but I had my amp miked up the other night and I decided to record a little mic placement test. I'm sure you've all dealt with the pain in the rear that comes with where to put the mic for recording or live situations...It's good to know how the location of the mic affects your tone.

(and yes, I had too much time on my hands over the holidays )

Microphone Placement

Weeeeelll.....it's sort of an inside joke but the fact that it's linked from the main navigation of the site is a bit....temporary

JM thanks! I've only done limited recording in home studios but later this week I am going to be laying down some electric guitar tracks for my band at church and your mic placement examples will be very helpful.
