Toneport GX

I just ordered a Toneport GX. For the price, I figured I couldn't go wrong. Anyone have any experience with it? What do you use to actually record? I will have to download decent recording software...help if you are familiar. Thanks!

i just got mine a minute ago. looks great and is small like a cigarette-box (kinda). the knob turns very smooth. exactly what i hoped it would be : very small for a laptop to take anywhere. i will post how it works with garageband and my macbook, as soon as it arrives, guess next monday. i am pretty psyched about it!

Excellent...mine is backordered at Musician's Friend, so I have this weird feeling I will not see it for 4-6 weeks.

I originally saw the gx in a GC mailer for August sales...when I went to GC and asked about it, they didn't know what I was talking about...I had to show them their own flyer...so I decided to order from MF.
