it's hard to imagine any real need for a high-Z mike in this day and age, unless you have some ancient gear that won't take lo-Z input. high-Z mikes start losing signal strength over a cable run of about 15+ feet.
however, i'm no expert, so if i'm wrong, maybe somebody will chime in!

i,ve got one...the only reason i keep it....like so many times before, if i get rid of it, someone will want it and offer to pay three times what i gave for it! maybe one day my kids can sell it to a museum and get rich??
