Online Jam Studio

Thanks to Mike Bruce for informing in another thread.

www.jamstudio.com

This is interesting. Thanks for sharing Mike. Any more info on this site?

I did a quick trial song and noticed a lag between measures. Maybe it is just a problem for non- members? Maybe my pc?
The member price looks reasonable, might be fun & easy to create songs.

I showed it to my daughter. It's amazing now... to create music you dont even have to know how to play an instrument.

This is handy though, because you can insert a piano and drums, when maybe all you know is how to play a guitar. I dont consider it a lazy man's way of creating music.

Anyone a member? Pros & cons?

Man, I dunno.
That is about as close to 'creating music' as a colouring book is to 'making art'.

Technically interesting exercise from a technological perspective but this sort of stuff doesn't have much to offer in terms of musicality or musical development, imho.
