Help with recording electric guitar into ACID Pro?
Hello everyone. I am trying to record some stuff into ACID Pro and I'm having a bit of a problem. Now I know everything is active because when I plug the guitar directly into the sound card I do get sound through. I can record it but obviously there isn't much oomph. Now I also have a little guitar amp with a headphone output. I figured I could plug my guitar into my amp and run the headphone connection into my sound card to record into acid pro and get all my distortion effects etc.. My problem is I get no sound when I do this. Not even a hum or anything. Can I not use a headphone output as a line to my sound card input? Am I missing something? Do I need a different preamp? Any help would be great. Thanks a lot guys.
