Karaoke "type" software...

I'm looking for some kind of software that will take out the guitar parts so I can play along with the main track without having to make a new one with Band In A Box or having to download backing tracks. Is there anything out there like that?
Thanks,
RJ

i'm not exactly a cutting-edge tech guy, but i've never heard of anything like that ... seems like it'd be a difficult task for software to accomplish without wrecking the whole track.

What Woodman says.

I remember searching far and wide for this a few years back to no avail, so I'm inclined to think it doesn't exist.

If it DOES exist, I sure would like to know about it too.

Cheers
Steve

My brother has something that I don't know what it is yet, but WILL find out what, then I'll let everyone know how to get it done. He used it on a couple of Buck Owens numbers with bass taken out of the mix somehow. I'll get back with ya'll.
