Presonus luv

Well Ive had some time to work on my setup with the Presonus Firestudio Project using Reaper to record and I'm very stoked so far. I'm using a 1.9 GHZ W/XP SP3 and 760mb Ram and the 4 pin FW that came with the laptop.so it's not the beefiest machine by a long shot. I'm able to record 7 at once at the same time that I'm running Band In A box. so I'm recording 3 voices 3 guitars and band in a box backing tracks all at once. With individual ear monitor mixes using the router in Reaper. no software issues no latency issues...however the firecontrol software still baffles me..none of it makes much sense or has really very much control over the unit but I'm sure it's just my iognorance plus Presonus' very minimal manual. Reaper will record in the background while BIAB is on top so I can play along with the "band" while it's recording..I also have the faderport and that helps to deal with both programs at the same time also...all in all a pretty neat setup for recording and live as it will output to our PA all 7 channels too.
Just thought I'd share...

Cheers
