Help with my snare drum.
I decided to experiment with my snare drum today, I put a coated head on the bottom as the resonant head so that both of the heads were coated just to see what it would sound like. I had my fun, then I put the clear head back so it was normal again. But when I put the snares back on they rattle way more than usual. I tried flipping them over and tightening them as much as possible. I tried a lot of different tunings with the head too. Do I just need new snares?
