New Aquisition for the Home Studio

I thought this one deserved its own thread. I am hoping this purchase will bring that certain Disney quality to my recordings.

for $1.54 plus $35 shipping? yee-haw! i'd have gone up as high as $2.50 if i'd known about it! since the shockmount is included in the picture, i assume it was included in the deal???

i like the CAD mikes and have had pretty good luck with the medium-diaphragm E-100. sure would like to get one like yours for an equivalent price, and i'd settle for one without the exotic beads -- nice score, dex!

Yeah, the beads are going. I can handle the gold. I am guessing a small chisel and some goo be gone. I think it would have gone higher if it wasn't the 4th weekend. I hope it sounds as good without the bling.

Hey Tim, this would be a great combo with your pink bass.

The "Alladin" arrived today. It is a tiny, cute little microphone. I don't have the heart to strip the jewels just yet. In the listing he said it would ship on Monday, July 7. He shipped it on Thursday the 10th. I guess he just couldn't part with it. The mic sounds good. A little brighter that my MXL 992.

Keep the bling it has a history. Like a old tele with wear and stickers it gets character now it has mojo if you get rid of the bling the mojo might go.
