The Boss Pedal Owners Club

I own several.
SD-1
NS-2
BD-2
GE-7
CH-1
DD-3
TR-2
and my newest Super Octave OC-3

After my 40+ plus years of playing, I think they hold up and play great.

BC-2

Quite possibly the best sounding dirt box (for my tastes) that I have ever owned.
And (by way of the curious hobby that many of us pursue) I have tried ... a lot of OD/Dists over the years.

I have a soft spot for good ol' SD-1 also.

DS-1 that I have never touched. Plan on the Keeley All Seeing Eye Mod if I ever get around to it.

CS-3 & TU-2 on my Acoustic Board

I have always liked Boss pedals. I remember being a kid and Boss was the high end pedal. After years of DOD and low end Ibanez I was thrilled to get my first Boss pedal (an AC-2 of all things). They never die, but if they did I like that you could replace it anywhere. For Valetine's Day my girlfriend got me a SD-1, which is currently my only Boss pedal but it's earned a permanent spot on my board. Plus these days not playing Boutique is actually becoming the best way to stand out and have your own sound.

OD-3...Boss' anti-boutique pedal that sounds better than boutique.

I'm also rockin an old Boss Flanger from Japan that simulates a good Leslie/Univibe.

Only 3:

FRV-1
LS-2
FS-5U (Ha ha, my very first pedal ever ... to run my Tascam guitar trainer)

The Verb is so good, I'm considering the FBM-1 Bassman.

SD-1
DS-1
OS-2
OD-3 unmodded
MT-2
ML-2 unmodded
CS-3 unmodded
NS-2 unmodded
RC-2 unmodded

All are modded except for those labeled otherwise; my modded SD-1 is one of the best overdrives I have; very good soft warm overdrive that sustains well and sounds great live.

I have a ds-1 with the diode clip mod, and an sd-1 with the c6 cap clipped out.

I really like both of these pedals. I have no boutique stuff...just madbean kits, mxr delay, an old dod fx65 chorus and two boss pedals.

Using a TU-3 SD-1 and BD-2 currently...
But I've owned a CS-3, 2 MT-2s, 2 other SD-1s, and a TU-2 in the past.

The SD-1 into the BD-2 rivals any boutique pedal. I've told many that. That's how my board is set up.
