Sold my Fender Mustang.

I hate parting with a guitar, but the economy forced me. Now I have $950 to pay some bills.
This was the Craigslist ad:
I bought a '66 Mustang in 1969. I picked up a '66 and a "65 in 1988. In 1994 I had the best body refinished and took all the best parts to make this guitar.
The tuners are Schaller (from the 70's). I used pickups from a Strat (because they sound better). The wiring was done by Fat Sound in '95 and everything works fine.
The case is original (the handle broke in 2002).
There are a couple nicks (see photos) but overall the guitar is in good shape.

I had a '67 I think? It got stolen around 1972 or so. It was red like yours, my case like yours too.

Sorry you had to part with it. I know how you feel. I was out of work two years, had to sell a lot of stuff off, hated to do it, but had to be done to keep a roof over our heads, power on, food on table, etc.

That was a sweet guitar Neal. Sorry you had to let it go. Good though, you still got some cool axes to fiddle with.

Hopefully, you will get another when you're in a better place financially. I inderstand your situation quite well and feel your pain.
