Obi-Wan: I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
Luke: I have a very bad feeling about this. C-3PO: We're doomed. Darth Vader: I sense something; a presence I've not felt since... Firebird X.............

Let's revisit this in about 8 years to see how dated it's obviously gonna sound.

Second..................nothing personal (seriously)..............but anything that encourages the stupid to stay that way is NOT an innovation. Reminds me of the Radio Shack Casio guitar-like-thing my step brother had. He thought it was cool too....................but then again he couldn't find his way home without a compass

Weeell boys and girls, I just try and ignore all of this stuff and go about my business. Not in a head in the sand type way cause it's good to know what's happening in the world and your surroundings. Like watching that video and being somewhat disgusted while having a good chuckle. You just have to find your own way through life and try to stick with it the best you can.

I bet people said a lot of the same things when they first came up with an electic guitar. Sure, the guy is making awful noise in the video but the cutoff switches and the modulation things controlled with fingers could probably be utilized in a very, very musical way (just think of Digitech Whammy). Probably not suited for country or whatever floats some people's boat though.

I just don't get why'd you want it on the guitar as two hand playing the instrument is superior to one. I could see using stomps or a theremin to do most of what I could imagine that guitar is capable of. |

Segovia said of the electric guitar, "An abomination!".
Let's take a poll. How many of us TDPRI guys have a Segovia record? How many of us have a Hendrix record? Long live the abomination, in all it's evolutionary forms!!!! |

This is definitely the last forum that's going to have any respect for this nutty thing. I just thought of something absolutely horrible- buying one of these for your kid who's just starting out (though starting at ground zero might result in some kind of revolutionary sound).
