New Family Photos!

Since I hadn't taken a proper group shot since 2005, I wasted a few hours last night with this:

Slightly closer up of the top row:

Closer up of the bottom row:

Unobscured shots of the amps:

I originally planned to include acoustics, but ran out of space. As it was, for the top row I had to construct a platform out of some boxes lying about in order to get the last two up there.

Any questions gladly answered, including those regarding my sanity.

Guitars:
Top Row (L-R): MIJ Squier P-bass, USA Peavey Fury 1 bass, Fender '52 RI Telecaster, USA Peavey T-60, my first electric guitar (now a wall ornament painted checkerboard), Brownsville Choirboy, Danelectro Hodad, USA Peavey Predator Strat, Frankentele built by Shawn Spencer (formerly local musician and DIY luthier), 1960 Fender Duo-Sonic, Ovation Breadwinner, Rickenbacker 620

Bottom Row (L-R): Epiphone Thunderbird bass, Aria MIJ Mosrite bass copy, Fender Jazz bass, Daisy Rock Retro-H 12-string, Gibson Les Paul Studio Doublecut, Fender Telecaster Special, USA Hamer Special, Gibson Les Paul Classic, Gretsch Electromatic Special Jet, Epiphone Casino, Fernandes Ravelle Deluxe, Schecter Tempest Special, DeArmond Jet Star, Epiphone WildKat

Dig the law library setting! Wish I owned the Library of Congress....

I used to love to read until the Internet ruined that for all of us.

You would have to be a lawyer to own all those law books!

Very cool. You should have taken a picture of the pile of cases!

(Must have been a hugs case pile).

Amazing collection of guitars. Thanks for posting.

Actually, since we use computers, the books and library are seldom used; most of the hardcopy subscriptions have been canceled as book rates have gone up and the economy got worse.

Well it makes for a nice quiet recording studio with a wall of books? If you had just one guitar and amp set up in there it could be a lot of fun. Beyond being a lawyer you must be fit also... the time and energy to drag them all out and get the photo would be a lot:)

Nice shot.

Thanks yes, the books do soundproof the room well. We use it for after-hours practices for my band, Crash Pad. And yeah, it took the better part of an evening to uncase all that and get it set up, take pics, and then get it torn down and put away!

I lost 50 pounds last year as a result of an illness/treatment (throat cancer surgery, chemo, radiation), so now I'm a lean, mean rockin' machine!

Only one Telecaster?

I have a problem not making EVERY one of my guitars be a Telecaster.

Ta mate! I'm very blessed to have lived long enough to amass all this junk!

Wolves supporter by chance? Blighty football is too difficult to follow properly from afar, but I do know that's your local side.

Ooops--Sorry!! I did a quick look and only saw the 52. I guess I was expecting a higher ratio on this forum (given the usual family photos posted here), but it's an awesome collection and room by any metric!

Ah, I was a bit of a soccer player back in the day. Played on my high school team, and on a couple club teams at junior college/university level.
