NGD - Danelectro Innuendo 12 String
Sold off nearly all my stuff last winter (austerity, bad economy... you know the story). Didn't realize how much I would miss having a 12 string around. When this became available, I couldn't resist! I believe it's a Korean build. Really nice neck. Well-done string slots on nut. Low action. Good tone. I'm smilin' again! Next stop: a Janglebox.

Congrats! It's a thing of beauty. I just ordered my first Dano today. Happy new guitar day!

Very nice! That was one of the ones I was looking at a while back as well. Post up thoughts on it once you've gotten a chance to play it a while.
On another note, I just happen to have a JB2 Byrds LE Janglebox that is not seeing much use in my house. |

@ John Backlund: I super-like the tobacco 'burst of your 12! And, yes, the built-in effects seem to be 'novelty'-grade at best.
@ Chud: I'm a bit away from pulling the trigger on the Janglebox, but, thanks for the awesome temptation! Hee hee! |

Congrats on the new Dano... and your story seems all too familiar. A sparkly DC-12 is filling that gap for me now too. In fact, my guitar tech wrote me a long message last night about how much he prefers these to any Rick he's ever worked on. That's fine, I just wanted something jangly and playable, and the Danos have that in spades.

I love mine. I never use the effects except to freak people out. The fuzz is just bizarre. It plays incredibly well and stays in tune. I bought mine off my brother who had it for years and never touched it. I told him to sell it to me and he said "give me $50". I gave him $100. Best $100 I ever spent on any instrument.

@ gitold: Ha ha! A great playing 12 string for $50 bucks?!?! Amazing! Tell me, is the blue in your guitar's burst transparent (grain showing through)? I'm all kinds of curious, now, to know what all colors these 12s were offered in.

I actually thought that the blue was transparent but after examining it I've found it is not. I think the bridge on these 12's are brilliant and the necks are very playable, much more so than any Rick 12 I've ever played. Every one of my friends who have played it can't seem to put it down.
