Show us your "non Fender" Teles.....

I just saw a resurfaced thread about showing your non Fender Strats. How 'bout showing us your non Fender Telecaster style guitars. I know there are a bunch of 'em out there.... Here's a couple of mine... The first is my old '79 or '80 Fame Mastercaster made by Hondo... It's a MIJ beauty which has a Bill Lawrence humbucker hidden under the Esquire style pickguard and a standard Tele pup at the bridge. Also, I have a HipShot Trilogy type bridge with which I can lower each string to two "tunable" notes....

The second one is my Squire with a Bigsby. This is a very nice playing and sounding guitar. I've had it wired with a mini toggle switch between the pickups to put it "out of phase" for an additional sound.......Let's see yours.........JH in Va.

I think this is another excuse to drag this out again....

My JBD-200, more 'tele-influenced' than a direct copy of the iconic Fender...

Some other variations of it....

Original production prototype..

Every time I see that picture of your Girlbrand Tele I get goosebumps.

Yours and Bill Frisell's are the only two I've seen and they look seriously awesome! You have a great collection.

Also, nice avatar. Green Wing fan?

Regal, probably 1970s. Fender sold Regal acoustics at one time but the electrics have been an informational dead end and Fender has declined to comment on them and may not have had any association with them.

The black one in the group of 4 is my MIM Tele. The yellow one is my Jackson/Gretschbucker hybrid, my 73 Deluxe clone, and my Motherbucker 12 string. My Tele-styles are my Pinecaster, and Hemlockcaster.

This is my 1980ish Overwater. They concentrate on basses these days but in the late 1970's made some guitars in association with Andy's Guitars (London & Newcastle).

I bought it in about 1982. Rosewood board, double bound body, Seymour Duncan pups, ESP neckplate, Schaller tuners, can't identify the bridge. It's heavy (about 8 lbs).

Anyone else got one or seen one?

I bought a body on eBay.

Then I got an All Parts TMNF-FAT neck, Wilkinson compensated brass bridge and Seymour Duncan Hot for Tele pickups. The idea was for this to be my "pretty" Telecaster.

But.... the paint job was terrible (not properly cured) and it started wearing out immediately. So I decided to go ahead and let it become a relic. I went to a single ply white pickguard and ta-da! It's my cool "old" Tele!
